Jesteśmy pierwszymi polskimi Mistrzami Świata w Footbagu. Tytuł
wywalczyliśmy czterokrotnie w konkurencji par mieszanych we
freestyle`u, w 2006 roku we Frankfurcie nad Menem w Niemczech, w 2007
roku w Orlando,USA, w 2008 roku w czeskiej Pradze oraz w 2009 w
Berlinie.
Gramy razem od 2004 roku i od tego czasu utrzymujemy się w ścisłej
czołówce światowej. Oprócz gry w parze, każde z nas startuje także
indywidualnie. W konkurencji Singles Freestyle również zajmujemy
wysokie miejsca.

Subject: [announce] Re: Nominations for Footbag Hall of Fame 2008 Now Open
Folks,
Apparently Pete's e-mail got garbled in some way and thus the links didn't work right. (Note: this is why I hate HTML mail.)
So here's the message, again. Please use this version which includes a working link for submitting your nominations and testimonials:
-- Corrected message: --
The Footbag Hall of Fame is pleased to announce that we are now accepting nominations for potential candidates for induction into the Footbag Hall of Fame's class of 2008. The nominations process is open now until March 31st.
Anyone may nominate a candidate for induction. Please note that the criteria for induction has changed this year as voted by HOF Nominations Committe (Eric Wulff, Bruce Guettich, Tuan Vu, Ken Hamric, Lisa McDaniel Jones, Scott Milne, Dennis Ross, and elected chairman Peter Irish). The main change is the criteria for the first year of formal involvement in the sport, which is now 1993, being 15 years of involvement.
The criteria for nominations and induction to the Hall of Fame is located here:
Please review this information before nominating players.
It's easy to nominate a player or offer testimonials or seconds. Just visit this link: http://spreadsheets.google.com/viewform?key=pVMREgmVSS0LjC3fpEexVGw and fill out the form.
Please note that the only player carried over to this year's ballot from last year is Daniel "Dog Man" Botkin, and you may now offer testimonials for Daniel along with new nominations.
There is a thread in the forum section of footbag.org containing this information and dedicated to discussion on the subject. This thread is located here:
The final ballot will be announced during the first week of April, and new inductees will be announced during the first week of June. We will hold a party at the World Championships this summer in Prague to celebrate.
Thanks to all footbag players for respecting the sport's history and roots as well as looking towords the future. We look forward to honoring the players who have devoted their lives to footbag and deserve the recognition that the Footbag Hall of Fame has to offer.

very helpful in the progression of footbag sports. It should be in the Olympics!
WORLD RECORD VASEK KLOUDA 07:46
From:ARNO107
Subject: Re: [announce] Vasek Klouda on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Success!
From the IFPA and all of Footbag Sports, I want to Thank Steve Goldberg and Vasek Klouda for this effort in making the Jimmy Kimble Live performance exceptional. The shots were excellent and the reaction from the cast and audience very helpful in the progression of footbag sports. It should be in the Olympics!
Nice job and lets keep working and see where this lands.
Success! Vasek performed tonight on Jimmy Kimmel Live (ABC, check your listings) tonight -- Thursday, August 30th.
Despite problems with his ankle, Vasek was able to perform very well! He got several segments and even a nice slow-mo segment just after the first break.
The rest of the show is great, but you don't need to waste your time watching it if you're only interested in the footbag -- after the slow-mo segment on the return from the first commercial break, there's no more footbag in it. (They wanted to fit it in and asked Vasek to stand at the ready, but they just couldn't find a good time for it.)
All in all, the show treated us very well, and I'm happy with the results. Vasek's an amazing professional, and did a great job.
Please everyone don't get mad at George Lopez for his bad jokes about "hacky sack" -- both Vasek and I were rolling on the floor laughing. :-) (It's just after Vasek's last demo.)
Also, if you look closely you may see me in the audience. I'm in the second row right next to the band.
Anyway, just wanted to make sure everyone knew it went off without a hitch and hopefully this will do good things for footbag. There was much sacrifice on both Vasek's and my part to make this happen. I want to thank you all for your support, Vasek for being such a trooper, and the kind folks at ABC/Disney who kept their word and made this a great opportunity for us.
Now, to sleep before flying home in time to work (oh yeah, I have a day job!) tomorrow, and then Saturday's extremely early flight to Harrisburg. See many of you there! (Vasek will be at Funtastik in case you haven't heard, and he plans to compete assuming his ankle lets him.)
I have edited.. my quarter work.. x)Is Video of Vasek Klouda abilities of freestyle since 2005 to 2006 ... Folks,
This is a notice that Vasek and I will be flying to Los Angeles in the morning for Vasek to appear on Jimmy Kimmel Live tomorrow [Wednesday] night (on ABC, check your local listings; either 11pm or 12 midnight depending on your area).
Vasek will be featured three times in between other segments, so be sure to watch the whole thing. Of course, this is live TV, so anything can happen. But the plan is for him to do three segments with a different demo each segment. (Unfortunately, Vasek twisted his ankle very badly just a few days ago, so don't expect to see him performing at his peak; but even impaired, Vasek is going to do a great job for us. Everyone please cross your fingers that his ankle cooperates enough to let him perform well.)
Again -- this will happen on Jimmy Kimmel Live on ABC, WEDNESDAY NIGHT (Aug. 29th), late at night. Some of you may not get this 'til Wednesday in which case it's TONIGHT.
This is a great opportunity for footbag to get national TV exposure in the U.S.; this has been one of the hardest markets for us to get media attention in, so this is a great thing for footbag! If you look on your TiVo you'll see the following on the listing for Wednesday night's show:
"Actress Mandy Moore; actor John Hamm; world footbag champion Václav Klouda; Joss stone performs."
Yee haw!
Steve
P.S. Very special thanks go to Vasek who is not only enduring a serious ankle injury to do this for our sport, but also extending his trip by a solid week to make this work out. Also, for those of you who haven't heard, Vasek will be at Funtastik next weekend (as will I, of course). :-) See many of you there.
